Data Analyst - Finance

N26 is looking for a Data Analyst - Finance to join its team in Berlin. The analyst will work closely with the Finance team and other departments, using data to support financial and strategic decision-making at one of Europe’s leading digital banks. Previous professional experience specifically in finance is not essential if the candidate has a strong data analytics background and is interested in moving into finance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor financial KPIs aligned with business objectives.

• Conduct complex financial and business analyses for senior leadership.

• Support forecasting, budgeting, cost optimisation and financial planning.

• Build and maintain dashboards for financial KPIs and OKRs.

• Work with engineering and data teams to improve data infrastructure and self-service analytics.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

• Analyse the financial impact of new products and business initiatives.

• Help improve data literacy across the organisation through knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or finance/data analytics.

• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python or R.

• Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills.

• Knowledge of dbt and Git.

• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.

• Experience collaborating with engineering, business and finance teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with large and complex analytics projects is a plus.
