The Émile Boutmy Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered by Sciences Po to outstanding international students from outside the European Union. It is available to first-time applicants admitted to eligible Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes at Sciences Po.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be first-time applicants to Sciences Po, come from a non-EU country, belong to a household that does not file taxes within the European Union, and be admitted to an eligible undergraduate or Master’s programme. Applicants holding dual citizenship that includes an EU nationality are not eligible.
Funding
For Bachelor’s students, the scholarship provides either a full tuition fee exemption or a €9,500 tuition fee exemption. The scholarship is awarded to students entering their first year at Sciences Po and can continue throughout the degree, provided academic requirements are met.
For Master’s students, the scholarship provides a €18,500 tuition fee exemption per year for each of the two years of the Master’s programme.
How to apply
There is no separate general scholarship application. Applicants using the Sciences Po application platform must indicate that they wish to apply for the Émile Boutmy Scholarship in the “Financial information” section of their application.
